Stefania has 20-year experience in the financial sector with focus on distressed investments, both buy side and sell side, restructuring, M&A and business organization.
After graduating with honours in Economics and Finance from Luiss Guido Carli University, she started her carrier in JPMorgan, in London, working in the M&A Industrials team. She then moved to the market side working in the Global Credit and Special Situations team of Merrill Lynch-Bank of America, where she held the role of Director, investing in distressed opportunities in Europe and Italy.
Back in Italy, in 2016 she joined the newly established REV-Gestione Crediti Spa, Italian Bad Bank 100% owned by Bank of Italy, with the responsibility to create the servicing platform and maximize the value of its €10bn NPL portfolio.
Stefania joined AREC in 2019 as Head of Asset Management leading a multidisciplinary team in the restructuring of complex distressed situations through the valorization of the underlying real estate assets.
